Brunette Productions: Feminism through storytelling

Brunette Productions was founded by Belle Gomer to tell authentic stories, amplify underrepresented voices, and bring artists together through theatre.

Belle Gomer is currently a student at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), where she studies in the theatre department. A performing artist since the age of five, Belle has appeared in dozens of stage productions and trained at renowned programs including Young Actor’s Studio, Idyllwild Arts Academy, and The Institute for American Musical Theatre. In 2026, she was named a Grand Prize Finalist for Acting in The Music Center Spotlight program.

Alongside acting, Belle has developed a passion for directing and collaborating with fellow artists through live theater. She founded Brunette Productions in 2024 in order to provide opportunities for fellow creators and to amplify underrepresented voices.

Directing Projects

As part of the spring 2025 production of Girl, Belle sat down with members of the cast to talk about their experiences growing up as girls. The result is a candid and meaningful video featuring real conversations about identity, friendship, role models, and empowerment. More than anything, the piece reflects the heart of Brunette Productions: creating space for honest story telling and collaboration.
